Etude House Dear My Glass Tinting Lips-talk in #GR701 & #12 I Am Your Vitamin Case

I got suckered into buying these cute Etude House Darling Lip Talks lipsticks as the cases were just too cute to resist. My favourite cases were the Fries and Vitamin designs as they are so fun and adorable. I really like that they are customisable and love to mix and match the cases. Apart from the adorable cases, my favourite colour was of course #GR701 – a fun color changing pastel blue lipstick that changes to a soft pink shade upon application. It gives the lips a nice natural pink colour that blends and enhances your natural lip colour so will suit all skin tones and lips! If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen this cute lipsticks in some of my recent posts.

Cosrx Acne Pimple Master Patches

July was quite a busy month of long days and late nights, which isn’t particular great for the body or my skin. This meant in July breakouts and pesky pimples made an unwanted appearance on my face. These Cosrx pimple patches really were a life saver and helped to keep my uninvited guests on my face in check!

Review Cosrx SokoGlam Triple C Lightning Liquid Serum

When I first heard that Cosrx was creating the Triple C Lightning Liquid I was very keen on trying it out. I was lucky enough to get my hands on one from their first batch. The product sold out very quickly as they only produce these serums in a small batches to ensure the freshness, so I was stoked I managed to get one at all. It’s second batch that was released a few months ago also sold out quickly and is currently unavailable again.

What is the Cosrx Triple C Lightning Liquid?

The Cosrx Triple C Lightning Liquid is a Vitamin C serum created in collaboration with Charlotte Cho of SokoGlam. The serum contains a high amount of Vitamin C that can help to lighten dark spots and brighten your overall skin tone along with many other benefits.

Packaging

The entire packaging for this Cosrx Triple C Lightning Liquid is so different from the usual simple white packaging of other Cosrx products. The serum comes in a glossy black box with metallic gold text that looks very luxurious and premium, like that of a high-end beauty brand. Similarly to the outer packaging, the serum also sticks to the black and gold colour scheme. The serum is in a sleek black glass bottle with metallic gold text printed on it and a black screw top lid. The dropper for the serum was packaged separately in a plastic pouch. The dropper itself has a shiny gold lid with a white dropper. I also received a bonus little makeup pouch that is black with cute little yellow lightning bolts printed on it. I really like the look and feel of the packaging for this serum as it looks so classy and sleek.

How to Use

After cleansing and toning, 2-3 drops of the serum can be applied directly to your face followed by your usual skincare routine. The Triple C Lightning Liquid is recommended to be used as a night treatment since it is an exfoliator and can make skin more sensitive to the sun.  Thus, whilst using this serum it is best to always apply sunscreen like you usually would during the day. For those with more sensitive skin or trying out a Vitamin C Serum for the first time, it is recommended that you mix 1-2 drops of this serum into your toner, essence or moisturiser for the first 2 weeks. This method allows the skin to adjust to the highly concentrated amount of pure Vitamin C in the serum that some people may experience sensitivity to on their skin upon application. This was my first time using a Vitamin C serum so I followed the recommendations to mix it into my moisturiser for the first 2 weeks.
